Brief Introduction to the Purpose and Principle of Making Wool Strip Steam

The acrylic stretch sliver manufactured by Tubo stretcher or BR211 stretcher generally has a shrinkage rate of about 20%. As mentioned above, the expanded wool strip is made of high shrinkage strip and regular strip in a certain proportion of deer and processed. The purpose of steaming is to retract the high-shrinkage strip produced by the tractor by heat treatment and make it into a regular strip for the production of bulky strips. It can also be all retracted by steaming to produce regular strips.
Principle of Steaming
Thermoelasticity is one of the characteristics of acrylic fibers and reflects the structure of acrylic fibers. Acrylic fibers have no strict crystallization zone, and their macromolecules are arranged in ordered and disordered regions. When stretching is carried out above the glass transition temperature of the tractor, the macromolecules bending in the low sequence zone are stretched, then cooled, and the chain motion is frozen, so that the corresponding elongation of the fibers can not be restored. However, when the temperature is higher than the glass transition temperature, the macromolecule in the low-order region will return to the bending state under tension-free conditions, and the length of the fibers will shrink considerably. This is the thermoelasticity of acrylic fibers. The principle of thermoelasticity of acrylic fibers is used to steam and shrink acrylic stretching strips with shrinkage.
